Essential Oils

With all of the changing fads, it can be difficult to discern what is worth your time and what isn’t. When it comes to essential oils, I was hooked immediately. Essential oils have been used even in biblical times. In my opinion, they have a pure scent that cannot be topped by fragrance stores. In addition, they have no added chemicals that can cause allergic reactions. Not to mention that you can use oils in so many different ways. My preference? Diffuse them. I can create new scents with mixing a couple together depending on my mood for the day. Not only do I benefit from the scent, but so does my entire home.

 

Another amazing way to use them is to wear the oils on your skin. Keep in mind that some may need to be diluted with the oil of your choice, such as vegetable, fractionated coconut, or grapeseed oil. The last thing you want to happen is to rub oregano oil on your skin with no carrier oil and feel a burning sensation. It will be a memorable experience, but it will not be a pleasant one!!! They can also be taken as a dietary supplement, which can be very helpful with an upset stomach or when fighting infection.

 

Since giving up synthetic fragrances for Young Living essential oils, I have noticed that I have had no redness or reaction to the oils, as well as having peace of mind that I am using natural materials that have been cared for from seed to seal.
